Students
The 2012-13 year looks to be a big year for Student Activities in our Chapter. We will be giving away a $1,000 scholarship to a Mechanical Engineering student at Wichita State University. Plans are in the works to start an “official” Student Chapter at Wichita State University and of course we plan to keep signing students up for membership. The Chapter is also aiding in a Senior Design Project at WSU involving the 2013 ASHRAE Student Design Competition and we are planning on finding some volunteers and supporting the 2013 Engineering Open House. If you are a student or know a student attending WSU or any other school please send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you signed up. Our Chapter will cover the $20 membership fee and remember students eat free at our monthly lunch meetings.
