As we start the new year, we would like to say Thank You! Without all the participation and donations, the work ASHRAE does would not be possible. Thank you, Joey Johnson for your efforts and leadership during the 22-23 year.
We have a calendar full of great speakers and events scheduled for this year. Please be on the lookout for information as we move forward so you don’t miss out.
We were able to finish up the 22-23 year with several achievements. The chapter exceled in PAOE in several categories. MP, RP, Historical, Communications, Chapter Ops, and Chapter technology were all well above PAR and we were above the minimum in all categories. Wichita ranks high in our region with some tough competition from some large chapters like Kansas City, Denver, Omaha, and Salt Lake City.
We start this year off with 143 Area Assigned Members. While we didn’t see the growth we saw during the 21-22 year, we were able to maintain our membership in 22-23. Our golf tournament continues to be our largest and most popular event. It is coming up fast so please get signed up. Thank you to our sponsors who continue to make this event possible year after year. We are still needing to fill a few BOG positions. If have any interest in being more involved, please reach out to myself or any other BOG member so we can talk about what you like doing and how you can help.
